FX has renewed animated spy series Archer for a second season comprised of 13 half hour episodes after a semi-successful seven episodes of the first season have aired where it faced heavy competition from other cable networks and the Winter Olympic Games.
The series features the voices of H. Jon Benjamin, Jessica Walter, Aisha Tyler and Judy Greer and was created by the guys behind WB's Adult Swim hits Sealab 2021 and Frisky Dingo.
No date has been given for the second season to run, due to the animation and voice work anything before Spring 2011 may be out of the question.
